For the fifth time a selection of the most interesting and relevant within the international contemporary art scene was exhibited during ten weeks around Gothenburg. The exhibition What a Wonderful World was curated by Celia Prado and Johan Pousette and presented works by 17 artists from different parts of the world.

The main exhibition venues were Röda Sten, Göteborgs Konsthall, Göteborg City Museum, Göteborg Museum of Art, the City Library of Göteborg and Gallery Box. An additional eight artists showed their films at the cinema Bio Capitol for the duration of the Biennial.
